Your dog (or cats) deserve a beautiful, earthy bowl to eat or drink out of and YOU deserve to have pretty things in your home no matter how functional they are! To make this 5 cup bowl, I first marble two clays together, throw the bowl on the pottery wheel, then allow it to dry a little before carving it. Each little slice I take shows off the marbled clay making it look like carved wood or sandstone. The interior is then glazed with a food-safe, satin matte gold glaze (the exterior is raw clay) and fired twice at over 2000F. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
